I think it will be very, very hard to sell his vision to the Country this time around. No more Hope and Change and so on. Saturn won't allow his Jupiter to soar rhetorical heights -- he'll bring him back down to Earth by making him answer to actual facts and figures -- and he won't let his Mercury fudge any numbers or facts about what he's achieved -- Saturn will put people or events in his path who force him to check and recheck and apologize, if necessary, publicly for misstating something.

Back to the here and now, I do think his Progressed Sun shifting into Libra is interesting. But, although in Virgo, I trust he would have been undergoing something of a shift in the last year or two, evidenced, perhaps, by his fixation on getting everyone on-board with what he wants to do as well as taking longer than usual to decide. As you mentioned, very Libra traits.

He's also at the tail end of a Mars Cycle which began in early-August 2008 with his last Mars Return. He begins a new one on July 17 with Saturn very closely conjunct the Ascendant and all the Angles mutable. More change afoot, I'd think, with Saturn at 29 Virgo putting his heavy foot on everything.

As for the P2 Sun trine Jupiter, it all depends on how he uses that energy. It can either manifest as a sense of exuberant confidence not rooted in reality (a certain possibility with his natal Sun and Jupiter having no relationship, other than being in opposite signs, with each other in his chart) or it can give his damaged ego the lift it so sorely needs right now.

With the SA Pluto square Saturn, though, this elevated confidence may make him attempt something of a power grab which backfires and somehow damages his image. I think, with the Progressed Mercury/Mars square his Saturn and moving to square his Jupiter, that's a real possibility. And with that Mars ruling his 3rd House, he may then find it difficult to communicate (3rd) as a Leader (Saturn) due to the impatience he feels (Progressed Mars/Mercury)

Thank you for so generously letting me comment. Again, I appreciate your site.Jonathannoreply@blogger.com
